On this page, we usually bring you news about activities of the Embassy and visits of government officials and other VIP visitors from the Czech Republic to Ethiopia. Last few days, the Embassy had been visited by completely different kind of emissary from our home country.
In October last year, Mr. Tomáš Švaříček has decided to take his bicycle, leave his home village of Stařeč in the Czech Republic and depart on a journey of a lifetime. He cycled across Europe and crossed entire Egypt and Sudan all the way to Ethiopia. Now, after few days of “recharging his batteries” at the Czech Embassy in Addis Ababa, he is ready to continue towards Kenya and further down south. And we wish him safe journey and lots of incredible adventures!
